For me, learning english quickly has become an opportunity to go out to the world. Let me explain: when I was younger (so much younger than today haha!) I developed a bigger interest in English musicians, so, in order to understand what they say and what they musical work mean, I pushed myself to slowly learn the language. That was the first step: get to understand what people was saying. In other words, it meant an aperture to a world still unknown for me in that time.
Later in School, English became an opportunity to go out on scholar exchanges. That was my golden ticket to go out of the boring city where I lived, and of course, see the world with my own eyes (and not google maps). Sadly for me, things didn't go as expected and I stayed here.

Well, I’m telling you this, because this two experiences have something very important in common: the aperture of an unknown world I was willing to get to know. English means for me an aperture to learning about other subjects, other people, other cultures. Learning english has been the main tool for my learning life, and there’s nothing else that make me happier than get to know, even if it’s a little, the world I live in.
That’s what learning English means for me, and that’s precisely why I love it and why I want to learn english properly.
